The Black Ribbon Benefit is a non-profit effort to fight the war on Melanoma Skin Cancer. Our purpose is to connect survivors, educate others and help raise money to find a cure for Melanoma. Based in Westerville Ohio and created by stage 3 survivor Katie Brennan, the BRB is an annual benefit held in September and all proceeds go to the Melanoma Research Foundation. Save the Date - 5th Annual Black Ribbon Benefit

Please save the date for the 5th Annual Black Ribbon Benefit for the war on melanoma!!! This year’s Benefit will be held on Sunday, Sept. 12th from 5-10pm at The Lodge Bar in the Arena District. Since its inception in 2006, we have raised over $24,000 for the war on melanoma. The event has become a staple in the Columbus Ohio melanoma community and connects survivors, supporters and creates new awareness about melanoma with each year. Admission: $20 with dinner, $10 without dinner and kids 10 and younger FREE. We will again have catered food, live entertainment by 3 irish bands (Dulahan, Knot Fibb’n and Ladies of Longford), a 50/50, great door prizes, our popular silent auction, key-note speakers and an all around GREAT night.
